If you have a passing interest in acne, it is worth checking out the following information. This insightful article has some of the latest acne news.

1. Avoid friction and abrasives

Friction and abrasives should be avoided. Experts said they irritated the skin, which should remain intact as a natural barrier against acne-causing bacteria.

2. Sun for beautiful skin

As you may know, the sun kills bacteria, but that doesn't mean it won't harm your skin. Remember that the sun also acts as an astringent, drying, tightening, and clogging skin pores. Therefore, you should only spend a limited amount of time in the sun. At least 15 minutes on the face and arms per day is sufficient.

3. Avoid extremely cold temperatures

If extreme heat causes clogged pores, so will extremely cold weather. So avoid extremely cold temperatures so as not to freeze and clog your pores. Ideally, you keep your face and body hydrated and kept in temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

4. Swimming helps

Exercise to relieve stress by swimming in a properly treated indoor pool. However, if possible, use the pool cleaned with ozone. It's interesting to know that pool water is usually between 75 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit, which is well below your normal body temperature of 98.6 degrees. Hence, the water from swimming cools your entire body, including the acne-affected areas, while providing great exercise for the rest of you. It even reduces stress and physical alertness.

5. Think cleanly

Change bed linen, washcloths, and body towels after each use. This is because they're great places for acne-causing bacteria to thrive and later reapplied to the skin. Also, wash white washcloths, pillowcases, and personal underwear with vinegar, tea tree oil, or lime, lemon, or orange essential oils daily to reduce the amount of acne-related bacteria growth. It is also often recommended that you apply a natural detergent.

There are many ways to control and fight acne, but maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the best one that should be considered so far. It is important to note that a healthy lifestyle leads to healthier skin and a healthier body. Changing your bad habits will reward you with better overall health, more energy, and clearer skin to show off to the world.

If you've ever been afraid to make changes, don't. Of course, the initial effects can be difficult to understand at first, but over time you will find that you can quickly learn to adjust to them.
